I look forward to the Sephora VIB sale each year because 1. it works on ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING in store and 2. it’s always the time I buy myself a ton of things and pass it off as a birthday gift to myself. I love snooping around and seeing what other people are planning on picking up because I am nosy af AND it helps me narrow things down to the really good stuff. So here is what I am hoping to pick up during the sale and maybe it’ll make you feel better about all the things you have convinced yourself you absolutely cannot live without another moment.
This is my holy grail number one mascara that I pick up every Sephora sale. It’s pretty expensive for a mascara, but I swear by it. It’s crazy volumizing while also somehow lengthening. I was never one for volumizing mascara, however, this one doesn’t clump up all your lashes making it look like you have a total of three. Instead, it makes it look as if you have even more lashes than you actually do. It’s a miracle worker especially when you need to blend your natural lashes with falsies. If you’re looking for a new volumizing mascara definitely check this out.
I’m a sucker for mini sample sets, they get me every time. This one in particular seems like a really great set. I’ve been wanting to try something from Milk Makeup for ages now, so why not buy this and try out nearly half their line, am I right? This set includes: the Glitter Stick in Techno, Matte Bronzer in Baked, Highlighter in Lit, Cooling Water, Blur Stick, and the Holographic Stick in Mars. Ever since I’ve significantly reduced my everyday makeup usage, stick products have become my new go to’s. I’m most excited to try out the bronzer!
Ok this one is silly, I kinda just want it since it’s pink. I’m not even kidding.. I have heard it was really good though and I don’t have an actual solid primer so why not fulfill my aesthetic needs while also fulfilling my basic makeup needs? (or at least that’s what I’ll tell myself)
This seems like a great purchase now that winter is coming (Jon Snow where u at.) I need to have some type of lip balm on at all times or else I feel like Spongebob in that episode where he’s in Sandy’s tree house without water, you know what I mean. Lip masks are particularly thick and are longer lasting so I like to use them throughout the day because I know it will be there hours after when I first applied. My sister also already owns this and is quite the fan.
Still searching for my perfect under eye concealer from a cruelty-free brand (I’m slowly but surely switching to non animal testing beauty brands so any recommendations would be much appreciated!) I’ve swatched this in store and it felt like it would work really well under the eyes. Concealer tends to settle into my fine lines and I’m hoping this either doesn’t or at least doesn’t exaggerate it more.
I already use their eyeshadow in the shade Kitten as a highlight so why not buy their actual highlighter in that shade? I always stop by and swatch whenever I’m in Sephora and I’m intrigued by the bouncy texture of the product. It seems like it would be a nice highlighter on the days where I don’t wear much makeup, but still want that healthy glow.
I have NEVER been a hair person. I don’t know what to do with it, how to do something even if I wanted to, absolutely useless. However, now that I have short hair again I feel like I need to do something so that it doesn’t lay flat against my face. This product is supposed to give your hair that second day look and grunge it up a bit. I’m hoping this will be the hair product I’ve always dreamed of. No pressure IGK, no pressure.
This product is so interesting to me. It’s essentially a powder supplement/vitamin that you can mix with drinks and each type has a certain effect on the body. The sample set includes: dream, spirit, beauty, power, sex, and brain dust. Each targets a different part of the body and helps relieve stress while also boosting other emotions. Maybe it’s a gimmick or maybe it actually works, either way it’ll make me feel hella cool.
This cologne has been on my wishlist for about 2 years or so, not even kidding. I received a sample years ago and ever since then I’ve been in love, but I’ve never been able to bring myself to just buy it since it is in fact a cologne. I can’t tell if this is something I genuinely like on myself or if I’m just projecting my ideal bf scent. Who knows.
And that’s it! Everything I’m planning or at least wishing to buy during the Sephora VIB sale. Do you have something you’re excited about picking up? PLEASE let me know in the comments below so I can add it to my already excessive wishlist!
